Overview

Blessed with timeworn cathedrals, gold-tipped towers and domes bursting with bronze and terracotta hues, Prague is the perfect place for a three-night mini-break.

Here, in the Czech Republic capital, you’ll be staying at the 4-star Charles Hotel in Prague Mala Strana. Doused in romance, this historical district is home to striking landmarks, including Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The area is incredibly walkable, meaning you can get to where you want to go without having to faff around with public transport.

You’ve also got a sparkling selection of bars and charming little eateries on your hotel’s doorstep; five minutes away is The Mail Room bistro, serving up international cuisine (great for any fussy eaters in your party) and even closer you’ll find the Vinoteka U Mourenina wine bar – perfect for an evening tipple or two.

Hotel amenities are comfortable, cosy and accommodating. The hotel occupies a beautifully restored medieval building which still smacks of something out of a fairy tale – with its Baroque-style rooms and gorgeously antiquated interiors. It’s not just a great base for exploring Prague; it’s also an idyllic, incomparable home away from home.
