The UK government announced last night that a new lockdown will ban England residents from travelling abroad between 5 November and 2 December, overnight stays and holidays in the UK are also covered by the ban Please note this ban currently only applies to residents of England. Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland have their own separate regulations.

I am booked to travel before 5 November 2020

If you are booked to travel before 5 November 2020 your holiday can still take place legally as the ban only impacts travel on and after 5 November until 2 December 2020

Should I come home early from holiday?

If you are currently on holiday, there is no need to cut your holiday short to get back before November 5, the ban relates to holidays departing between 5 November and 2 December 2020.

Inbound International travel is allowed

If you, a relative or friend are overseas and wish to return/visit the UK this is permitted subject to quarantine rules.
